A new 75 horsepower machine

By Mabwe Lucien | Project Leader

Competition on the trafficking of people and goods on Lake Tanganyika is fierce. Several boats must be competitive to have the clientele along the various port cities of DR Congo, the Republic of Burundi, the United Republic of Tanzania and sometimes the Republic of Zambia.

This competitiveness has meant that our boat, which is also sailing on Lake Tanganyika, can be repaired and solidified by new planks.

However the weak point of our boat remains our current Yamaha 55 machine bought in 2008 which is completely used. This is the main objective of this project: to buy a new motor of 75 horses capable of pulling our 30 ton boat.

Our 30 tons boat to be associated with the new machine, remain the only self-financing tools of our school which teaches peace and nonkilling in our region mined by wars.

Dear nonkilling friends, let us hope for your donations so that our boat can be profitable financially for our pionnering nonkilling school.

Best nonkillings.
