Nasreen* was brought to SHINE Humanity Clinic in dire straits.
She had boils with oozing pus on both of her lower extremities.
She also had fever and was unable to walk on her own due to pain.
Her mother had taken her to other nearby clinics but her skin
condition had progressively worsened.
A poor woman from a small village, Nasreen’s mother could not afford to take her little daughter to the bigger hospitals in the city. Somebody told her about our clinic in Gharo and Nasreen was brought in for treatment.
Our doctor assessed her condition and put her on the right medications. After a week of topical and oral treatment her condition visibly improved and she was able to walk properly again.
Skin conditions like the ones manifested by Nasreen are something the poor people of Sindh have to suffer through very frequently. Unhygienic living conditions, poverty, poor diet and low resistance often lead to breakouts similar to these.
Please support our projects so that we continue to treat patients like Nasreen and are also able to reach a wider population by putting up skin camps in rural areas.
Thank you!
