Introduction
We believe that curious, passionate and dedicated young people are the key to our future. As we work on over 65 projects globally we come across young people that we know would make the most amazing ambassador within their community for actioning change and tackling the UN SDG's. However, due to Poverty, Education and many other factors, they are never presented with an opportunity to break their current life cycle and educate, learn and develop themselves to fulfil this potential.
Report
This project is a long term project but with the potential to put a stop to all 17 global issues including inequality, unemployment, hunger, poverty and much more. We are building an army of young people that have taken your gift and broken the traditional cycle of life that faced them within their community. These ambassadors will help promote education and support other projects to tackle the issues within the community and build opportunities for others to learn and educate

Introduction

Report
The solution to all the global issues is simple, education and empowerment. This project aims to select, recruit and then breakdown the traditional barriers for aspiring young people that would never usually be able to enter training programs, attend conferences or join an apprenticeship within their own Country. We have provided full scholarships for 6 students from Africa to gain certification in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.

Together with a little help we can change lives!
By Daniel Sitarenios | Operations Manager
Dear Supporters,
Dear Friends and Family,
You might have noticed that we have changed the name of this project from National Scholarship Program to The Global Innovative and Education Fund. We feel this new name is a fresh approach and showcases what this project really means. Every penny we donate has helped train and educate people that today are actively changing their community and breaking down traditional barriers.
Due to COVID-19 many people we support found themselves stuck at home and traditional training programs we supported had to be cancelled. Therefore we were excited to learn of a new virtual internship program being launched by our trusted partners, evolve abroad. With your donations we were able to help a young aspiring individual from South Africa to join a 4 week sustainable development internship to equip her for a career in tackling the issues on her doorstep.
Chelsea was awarded a $695 grant from us to join the program and she successfully passed the course which included a certified certification in the Age of Sustainable Development from Columbia University in the USA. During the internship her mentor reported that she progressed and developed in a number of key skills and completed 3 real live projects during a virtual placement. At the end of the program Chelsea completed a 3-5 year career development plan and is now working with the local community. You can see how your donation has changed her life in her exit interview here.
Our fund is almost empty but after watching how this virtual experience is changing lives we see how valuable and important gifts to this project really are and I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to please help us by sharing this project with other like minded people so together we can help people around the world break down the barriers and learn to become ambassadors for change.
We are in a world today where many communities and projects are in a critical position and this might be the last chance we have to make a difference for future generations. A donation no matter how big or small will go a long way to helping us to change.
Thank you for being part of the solution to end all global issues by 2030.
With Gratitude,
National Scholarships
