Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your valuable contribution towards providing new clothes to over 1,000 students in NUR Outreach schools in Malikpur, Gajumatta and Lakhodair; communities in suburbs of Lahore and in flood affected areas of DG Khan. Nothing inspires more than a smile and you were able to bring twinkle and rays of hope in many little eyes for whom these gifts were very special. Most of these children belong to families who are on or below the poverty line and their parents cannot match up with the pace of their kids growing up when these kids outgrow their clothing. The clothes help raise self esteem in these children as they can celebrate the happiness on Eid-ul Adha with their family and friends.
Eid gifts were also distributed amongst the parents of these children. 200 Shalwar suits were distributed amongst mothers and fathers. Around 2000 students received sweets, juices and biscuits to celebrate the festivities.
NUR Foundation did not forget the children in its outreach school in flood affected areas of DG Khan on this auspicious occasion on this Eid and your donations helped us spread the smiles on the faces of these children as well. Eid ul Adha is celebrated with sacrifice of a goat and NUR Foundation sacrificed 7 goats and 2 cows to distribute meat amongst these families.
With your help we look forward to continue spreading the ray of hope and light to many more children.
