Let's Spread Happiness and Love!
By Aazer Durrani | Head of Marketing

Every season, NUR Foundation donates clothes to the underprivileged children bringing smiles and spreading love. The numbers are increasing day by day but we still make it a point to distribute as many as we can among these needy children who are the future of Pakistan. Along with providing education to them, it is very important to nurture and groom them. Above all, spread more love and happiness. Nothing could be a better experience than the smile that is seen on those innocent faces which has to be the real reward
The students of NUR Foundation Schools come from impoverished backgrounds and whatever the circumstances they come for a chance for to be educated. For a chance to be able to follow their dreams and make them a reality.
These young souls with their bright eyes and contagious smiles might have very little but their determination and courage makes our heart swell with pride. It adds meaning to the work we do and to see them grow as they have become productive members of society.
Your support means a lot and we hope it continues in future.
Thank you so much!

As winter strikes the temperatures can go down to almost 4 degrees Celsius, and in these temperature little children of the NUR Foundation Schools show up every day come rain or shine.

While this project is for new clothes for Eid which is celebrated by Muslims across the globe however given the cold weather last week students from the Malikpur branch were given sweaters, socks and shoes.
We all traveled to Malikpur branch from Lahore which is an hour’s drive and participated in the activity. While giving clothes on Eid is a tradition but sometimes their needs to be met as and when its is required.
We hope you will keep supporting us and thank you for everything

The Moon Sighting !
By Asma Rao | Head of Marketing & Resource Mobilization

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated after a month of fasting and sighting of the new moon. The moon sighting is met with joy and jubilation to celebrate the end of the fasting month. Eid-ul-Fitr is marked by food, festivities, Eidis (money packets for children) and new clothes. While this may be a joyous occasion met with happiness and smiles for many this is not the case. So many children in Pakistan live below the poverty line which means having three square meals a day is a blessing.
While we can’t the change the lives many but at NUR Foundation School we make sure that every Eid the children of the school receive a new set of clothes for Eid. The children come from impoverished backgrounds and while giving them an education will take them forward in the future but seeing there joy makes all the effort worthwhile
This has only been possible with the support of donors and we hope the support will continue.
However, with rising costs it is becoming difficult with each passing year and we will like your support so we can continue with our tradition so we can see the bright light in each child’s eyes which has been dimmed by the reality of their lives.
