Shortage of Food in rural families near Badin district
Farmers residing in far and flung areas in lower Sindh facing water shortage I their villages and do not have chance to cultivate RABI Season crops during this winter. Some 10 villages near Badin district reported shortage of food and health facilities.
AHD has been giving trainings on Nadi filter water technology through trainings in these villages, women and children affected due to shortage of food. Program team made the list of some 33 families whom needs urgent basis food in next few weeks till the labor starts of wheat and tomato crops.

07 Medical camps organized by AHD Health team
AHD medical staff organized some 07 new medical camps in villages and checkup made up to 290 patients in seven medical camps. The majority of patients facing flu, temperature and skin diseases, AHD medical team provided them with free medicine. Children and women ration of sickness is more as women doing hard work, get up early in the morning and sleeping late at night.
AHD also working to reduce women work load and provide cooking and safe drinking water facilities as well as free medicine through its health program

Rural Women of Sujawal Districts Facing Food & Medical Shortage
Women of Sujawl costal area facing food & medical health facilities shortage near Sujawl district Sujawal. Small farmers residing near coastal belt near Raj Malik Zero & Point not cultivated rice crop as water shortage and now they facing food and medical shortage vulnerability. The farmers residing tail end of water canal not cultivated rice crop on their agricultural lands due to water shortage
AHD committed to provide awareness about food security & short term food and medical support for women in these irrigation water shortage hit areas. Our project will 25 villages and direct families 1200 with total estimated population about 5,600. We hope this report will help poor families facing food and medical shortage, as the Christmas thanksgiving season and we hope more donations & support for this project in this month.
