Dear GlobalGiving donors,
I hope this letter finds everyone in good and blessed conditions.
I myself have been working very hard on my studies lately. After the final exam in July, I had two months off from the university, so I decided to enroll in a short semester. A short semester means that the classes will be finished in two months, when normally one semester would take 6 months. I enrolled in Organizational Budgeting and Auditing classes. It takes place every Saturday for 8 weeks, and each class runs for 4 hours. The final exams for this short semester will be held at the end of September, and after that I will enter into the sixth semester. Since I would like to graduate as soon as possible, I thought that it would be worth it to take this short semester instead of being on holiday from university for two months.
However, I did enjoy some rest recently. Every year, the YUM office organizes a family gathering for the staff. This year we went to Bogor, which is a two-hour drive from Jakarta, for the weekend. My family and I went there by train and it was a great experience for us especially for my children. We stayed in a hotel near the Bogor Botanical Gardens. In the gardens, we could see many kinds of plants and in the Zoology meseum, we saw many different preserved animals. It was a precious time for my family. Since I work and study at the same time, we do not really spend much time together.
I cannot believe that in two semesters, I will probably graduate and get a degree in Economic studies! I will do my best to finish my studies on time and obtain good grades. I believe I owe it to myself and to all those who are helping me with my studies.
As always, thank you very much for your trust and your generous support!
Kind regards,
Paridi
