With the passing days, Sparshaguna team is reaching out to more lives. We are privileged to offer our services to people from different backgrounds, our focus being more on the less privileged ones or abandoned people to whom the society does not accept readily.
In the last few days, our bond with the Summanahalli family has grown stronger. We are able to address almost all their medical needs. Around 10-15 new leprosy cases have been registered and one case of Elephantiasis. They all are improving fantastically.
With the opening of the new in-patient facility at Summanahalli, we have already registered 6 patients within 2 months among which one has been discharged after rehabilitating successfully.
Our Gulbarga centre is welcoming new patients. The regular community visits and our camps have helped people trust us and our work. Our last SCI screening camp could help 15 patients and the Paediatric camp could assess and teach early intervention to around 50 children in two days.
Now we have started taking sessions at a special school where we are helping kids with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and improving their quality of life.
