Maintenance activities progress report

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Dear Patrons,

We are very happy to thank you very much for all the support that you have provided so far for our Rwanda forestation project.

We are so excited to share with you the progress of the maintenance activities for land five ( take a look at the short video: Link attached below). We planted saplings at location Rwanda:7299+3WH (Google Plus code) and now are growing well apart from unwanted small herbs that we are currently removing to facilitate our planted trees to grow well. This area’s name is Taba (colline Mwite)

During the maintenance of the trees, we involve community people who are around the area and young children so that we make sure that have a common understanding of the importance of trees and will reduce the disturbance from humans.

After the land is fully planted, we will start fencing activities. We will fence the land because we want to protect the land 5 in which the trees are planted from animals like goats, cows, and sheep, as well as from the disturbances caused by humans. we will keep doing close follow-ups and maintenance.

To do this successfully, we will need ongoing funds for the regular maintenance of the saplings and the land. The maintenance will require maximum care and supervision to make sure that trees are growing well. This activity will also include pruning the area properly in order to keep the trees healthy and strong.

We request you to donate generously to our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us with our ongoing work.  The link for the monthly recurring donation is mentioned below in the report.

We thank you for everything that you have done for our project, and we look forward to your continued support.

Thanks & Best Regards.
