Dear Patrons,
We are very happy to thank you very much for all the support that you have provided so far for our Rwanda forestation project.
We are so excited to share with you the progress of sapling planting activities for Land Six and Land five, this time; Saturday the 21st October 2023, we planted around 1200 trees in land six and land 5. We were replacing trees burn out during summer. We planted saplings at location Rwanda: 724+ CHC Mugambazi (Google Plus code). These area’s name is Mugambazi (colline Mwite) and 7299+2X5.
We take this opportunity to thank Professor Barry and Monica for joining us in tree planting activities, we do appreciated for everything you have contribute to this project. We can’t forget to thank students from Burega sector and volunteers for their active participation in this tree planting activities. We would like also like to thank Muyanza Primary school, Burega primary school, and Butangamundu primary school students and leaders for their valuable support and active participation in this forestation project since the beginning of the project. In this activity, during the project activities, the total of 25 people including volunteers and project workers helped in that planting activities to be successful. The trees we have planted this time were 100% are Eucalyptus. We have finally completed land 6 and land 5. We will continue to do maintenance to make sure our trees planted are growing well.
To keep our activities going well as planned, we need ongoing funds for the regular maintenance of the saplings and the land. The maintenance will require maximum care and supervision to make sure that trees are growing well. This activity will also include pruning the area properly to keep the trees healthy and strong. We will be doing mulch about 6 inches from the base of the tree so that we cannot damage the roots of our trees. We will do replacement of those who may die because of different factors.
We request you to donate generously to our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us with our ongoing work. The link for the monthly recurring donation is mentioned below in the report.
We thank you for everything that you have done for our project, and we look forward to your continued support.
Thanks and Best Regards.
