Dear Patrons,
Thank you so much for all the support
that you have provided so far for our
Rwanda forestation project.
We are happy to let you know that the
saplings are growing well, and we are
looking forward to plant those saplings
by the end of December 2021 in all
our identified five locations.
In this report, I wish to share with you
the information about the first area. This
area’s Google code is Rwanda:72QV+97.
This area’s name is Buyoga.
This area is located in Rwanda, Rulindo
district and Burega sector, on the hill of
Buyoga.
The nature of the soil in this area is such
that the soil texture is soft during the
rainy season and becomes hard during the
dry season. Because it is hard during the
dry season, and it is difficult to cultivate or
to prepare this land during dry season.
It is rainy season till end of January here
in Buyoga, so we are planning to plant the
saplings by the end of December 2021.
We need to prepare the land by weeding
out the existing small plants, shrubs, and
other unwanted growth, so that the land
can be made suitable for planting the
saplings.
To ensure the security of our trees we will
be using BRC brand fence, which is a
welded wire fence that belongs to
Zensen fence product series. BRC fence
is also called “roll top” fence. The fence
protects the land in which the trees are
going to planted from animals like goats,
cows, and sheep, as well as from the
disturbances caused by the humans.
For preparing all the lands, we are in
need of funds around US$5000, which
will include the cost of the organic
fertilizer also. To start with preparing
the first land, we need immediate funds,
so that we can go ahead with the work.
We request you to donate generously
for our project so that we can start our
work. You could also consider doing a
monthly recurring donation for our
project, which will help us with our
ongoing work. The link for the monthly
recurring donation is mentioned below
in the report.
We thank you for everything that you
have done for our project, and we look
forward for your continued support.
Thanks & Best Regards.
RWAYDAVO President
Jean
