Activity Report from 1st December 2014 to 1st March 2015

Thank you for all the donors for your kind donation which made us possible to raise some $10,000 from 112 donors!. We are now in the way to be a “Superstar” partner of GlobalGiving. Due to your continuous support we became Microsoft Youth Spark Project and our report is visible in the staff portal of companies like Hilton Honors and Your Cause, GREAT. These all are possible just because of YOU.

Throughout the whole period from the commencement of the Challenge to now we are able to get at least one donation to our project. Ths indicates your love to our project and it gave us strength to work with these types of needy and marginalized people from the society. Hope your support will continue in the near future also. A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.

Please find the list of the donors at our website www.patancbr.org.np

As usual, this time, even after a year passed, we are able to provide help for the 12 Children with Disabilities as before. We could support for these children in the following sector for this 3 months time, these are

  • Lunch for 3 children
  • Service/education, transportation for 5 children
  • Medicine distribution for 4 children

Apart from this, we are successful in providing these services

  • Three children with disabilities have been provided with medical treatment. One from the day care class admitted in the hospital for 3 days.
  • This time we are able to buy toys for the children to play in the classroom and outside. The toys worth some NRs. 25000. With these new toys, and educational materials children seem very happy to play and it is easier to control the children in the class.
  • A group of 39 nursing college students from Lalitpur Nursing College, B.Sc. Nursing faculty, visited this time. It was a part of their academic requirement. The students got a lot of idea that how the community organizations are working and types of disabilities exists in the society and their prevention.
  • One child with disability has been provided with the school dress.
  • It is our immense pleasure to let you know that two of our students got married this time. It is a great proof of socialization skill developed in these types of children.
  • In cooperation with Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, Patan CBR Organized district level sports program among the Children with Disabilities.

These all are possible with the support of the donors like you. We could continue our program just because you support our cause. Hope your support will continue in the near future also. With GREAT THANK YOU.
