Dear friends, with our best Christmas and New Year wishes we want to share some news from our project for the Ukraine internally displaced people.
This month we focused on giving much love and joy to our beneficiaries on the holiday eve, so we organized a few festive projects for IDP families.
On December 16, 2019 we held a Saint Nicholas day celebration in a restaurant for children from socially disadvantaged families, including orphans and IDPs. Families participated in master classes on grilling barbecue, making paper bookmarks "Funny little mice". At the end of the project everyone enjoyed treatments and lots of presents from WFWP and partners.
December 17 was marked with a festive concert for IDPs, Afghan and ATO veterans who are treated at the hospital of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. There were lots of colorful carols, Christmas greetings, gifts and homemade cakes. Emotions overwhelmed the participants, there were lots of tears and interesting stories shared.
"Interestingly and joyfully preparing for the New Year's Eve!" - such a meeting was held on December 18, 2019 in the beautiful reception hall in the center of Kiev. The event audience were internally displaced women, mothers of many children and guardians of family-type orphanages. A director of an etiquette school and WFWP partner Mrs. Natalia gave a workshop on dress code and behavior at New Year's corporate parties. Other experts also shared their experiences in various fields of activity. A large number of lottery prizes and a banquet were expecting for participants. All women could feel their beauty and preciousness, despite the difficulties they have in their lives. Everyone got lots of positive emotions for the coming year.
And on December 22 we organized the event specially for large families of Kyiv, including IDP families. Women’s Federation volunteers prepared a concert, games with the Snowflake Queen, gifts and a festive buffet.
We wish you, our dear friends, all the best in the year 2020! May your genuine help will attract many blessings to you and your families!
