Dear Friends!

We sincerely hope that this message finds you in good health. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support, which allows us to provide assistance to Ukrainian IDPs and refugees.

At the end of the summer and the beginning of the fall, the Women's Federation for World Peace in Ukraine assisted families in difficult circumstances. This support was crucial for these families, who were able to purchase necessary medicines, hygiene products, clothing and school supplies. Among them were a large family from the Khmelnytsky region, a family of displaced persons from Kramatorsk, and a family of Ukrainian refugees from Mykolaiv living in Poland, where a disabled daughter requires special care.

In October, the Women's Federation organized a series of online art workshops for Ukrainian families, allowing them to be creative and temporarily distract themselves from everyday problems.

In November, the Women's Federation made a significant contribution to supporting Ukrainian refugees in Germany through a series of cultural integration events. In the city of Jüterbog, integration tours were organized to help Ukrainian refugees better understand the local culture and history, thus facilitating their integration into the new society. There was also a cultural event called "My Name is Ukraine," which provided an important cultural exchange and support for Ukrainian identity among refugees while introducing Ukrainian culture to German citizens. In addition, a series of creative online meetings, including origami workshops and art therapy, were organized to support the emotional state of the participants, emphasizing the importance of cultural and psychological support in the integration process.

In December we gave help to many women and children in difficult circumstances. Among these efforts was support for a 14-year-old volunteer from Kyiv with cerebral palsy. We helped raise funds for the boy's surgery while he was being treated at the National Children's Hospital OHMATDYT. We also undertook to help two Ukrainian families in difficult circumstances: one family had a disabled member, and the other had lost a father who gave his life defending Ukraine. We also provided integration assistance to a woman displaced from the combat zone in Donetsk, helping her with urgent dentures.

Our organization also participated in the organization of holiday events abroad. On December 6 we helped to organize St. Nicholas Day in the German town of Jüterbog, and on December 9 we held a charity fair with souvenirs made by Ukrainian craftswomen. On December 23, a musical for children of Ukrainian refugees was held in Braunschweig, which was a wonderful Christmas gift. At each of these festive events, each child received a gift, bringing joy and holiday spirit.

Through our partner foundation that is assisting families in need, we sent New Year gifts for 30 IDP children.

Finally, we conducted online art workshops aimed at integration and psychological support of Ukrainian families, both in Ukraine and among refugees in various European countries. In these workshops, participants created holiday cards, wish trees and Christmas figurines, providing a creative outlet for emotions in times of uncertainty.

These activities are vital to supporting the internally displaced and refugees in times of war, helping people not only to meet their basic needs, but also to recover psychologically, find common ground, and feel supported. The Women's Federation is grateful to international partners for their support and looking forward to continued assistance to Ukrainian families in need.
