This new year starts on the right track!

Hands-on training
Hands-on training

Dear friends,

We, at Fundación Omar Dengo, are delighted to announce that 20 young girls aged between 14 and 18 have undergone Robotics training, thanks to your generous support. From September 30th to November 18th 2023, these young women engaged in two workshops (each of 10 young women), aimed at enhancing their logical reasoning, creativity, and collaborative work skills, totaling 40 hours of hands-on training.

In terms of overall impact, our evaluation doesn't solely rely on quantitative results but emphasizes qualitative assessments of each student's capacities and skills. Therefore, the course prioritizes participation and individual progress. We are excited to share a video prepared by our Communications team during the execution of the two training sessions, which you can access here!

As we enter 2024, our commitment remains steadfast in expanding the impact by offering courses that empower young women with disabilities. This ongoing effort contributes to establishing an inclusive and accessible educational environment. We express our deepest gratitude to our donors for making this initiative possible and eagerly anticipate advancing our mission in the coming year, including new courses, and cohorts of younger women from primary and secondary grades through an adaptation of our current curriculum.

Fundación Omar Dengo extends heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. Join us in creating a meaningful impact by sharing our Robotics for Young Women with Disabilities initiative with friends, family, and colleagues! Together, let's foster positive change and inspire the next generation!
