Restoring Sights- Restoring Faith

Dear Donors, well wishes,

Greetings!!

We hope this progress report finds you in good health and spirits.

We are so excited to share with you our progress report of seeing is believing project. ‘’our upcoming eye hospital construction work in Bayad (Vatrak), Gujarat. India has made very well progress hoping to begin eye care services. This hospital will enable us to reach poor, tribal people of Gujarat and Rajasthan.

During this reporting period, we have stated our outreach camps after COVID 19, Pandamic. We have conducted 29 camps. Wherein, 2389 people were referred to cataract surgery.

Our 13 vision centres which provides regular services in remote areas. More than 2500 people have assured the eye care services.

We are glad to share that 2389 poor people had free cataract surgeries, 110 poor people had keretoplasy surgery free of cost. 

We are glad to share the story of Shri Mukesh Bhai, he came to our  Cornea OPD with the complain of servere pain, redness and no vision in his left eye. His vision in right Eye was 6/6 and left eye PL and PR positive. 

On examination, right eye was normal and Left eye, corneal perforation with iris prolapse and full corneal infiltrate was found. 
On detailed history, patient confirmed that he had trauma in his left eye 7 days back after which he took some eye drops from the local medical shop, but there was no improvement, then he came to us for the treatment. Patient was adviced Therapeutic cornea transplantation on urgent basis and the same was done which helped him to protect his eye, pain free and gain his vision.

Our target for the year 2023 will be to conduct 16000 catract surgeries free of cost. We request you to share this report with your friends, family memebrs and motivate them to support the cause.
