Empowering African Lives Through Solar Power

Dear Project Supporters, 

We greatly appreciate your support, which is helping bring light to students who have no electricity.  15 students received solar lights from Bethel Primary School Pentagon, including Alhaji and Aminata pictured here.  The students from Bethel Primary School Pentagon were directly impacted by the heavy floods in Aug 2017.  

Most of these students' families lost their homes and belongings and are still slowly rebuilding their lives since the flood and mudslide.  All 15 children and their families were very thankful for the solar lights they received.  You can see the children who received solar lights express their thanks in the photo below.  

Please join us in continuing to provide solar power and technology to more students in need in Sierra Leone.  You are making children's lives brighter and safer by your support.   We encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here. • Set up a Recurring Donation to Bring Light to Children in Need

Dear Project Supporters,  

Your generous support has helped provide students who have no electricity with solar lights. One of the students that recently received a solar light is Bilkissu. Bilkissu is in class six and enjoys reading and going to school. She would like to be a nurse when she grows up. 

Another student that recently received a solar light is Emmanuel, who is grateful to be able to read and study at night with his new solar light.  Emmanuel attends Bishop Jane Middleton High School and is in Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS 3).  He enjoys reading and would like to become a medical doctor when he grows up.
