Solar Lights are Helping Future Leaders Study at Night
By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator
Salamatu is happy to use her new solar light
Dear Project Supporters,
We greatly appreciate your support that has helped to provide more students with solar lights. One of the students that recently received a solar light is Salamatu. Salamatu is grateful to be able to read and study at night with her new solar light. She enjoys going to school and says math is her favorite subject. Salamatu would like to be a nurse when she grows up.
Another student that recently received a solar light is Adama. She just completed her 3rd year of Junior Secondary School (JSS3) and expressed her gratitude for the solar light saying that it helped her study at night for school. Adama loves going to school, she enjoys reading and hopes to be a lawyer when she grows up.
Our goal is to provide a solar light to every student in need so that dangerous kerosene lamps are no longer needed to study at night. We invite you to continue helping us provide solar lights to students in need.
With great appreciation,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team

Kennie shows his new solar light
Dear Project Supporters,
Thank you for your continued support that has helped provide solar lights to students with no electricity. Most of these students had to rely on dangerous kerosene lamps to study at night, but now have a safe and reliable source of light through solar powered lights. The students were each very appreciative to receive a solar light.
Kennie was one of the students that recently received a solar light. He was very grateful to receive a solar light and in the video, he says that it helps him do his school work. He is in Senior Secondary School (SSS2) at U. M.C Methodist Secondary School in Bo and really enjoys business management.
Please join us in making more children's lives brighter and safer by providing solar power and technology to other students in need. Thank you for your continued support.
With great appreciation,
The Develop Africa Team
