Educate an Orphan in Rural Western Kenya

Another good time to wish you all a happy fruitful 2017!  It is our prayer that this year will be of blessings for you and your families. We also take this opportunity to thank you all for the good work you have done through the year 2016. Your commitment and sacrifice has seen a more successful 2016. 

YOU enabled 280 pupils have a meal everyday, you provided all the writing materials, school uniforms and text books for all the pupils at the school. YOU provided all the teachers' teaching materials and enhanced the opportunities for better performance.  All YOU did enabled our last year's candidates pass their exams and have been admitted in the best schools in the country.  YOU provided for all the 58 children at the orphanage and gave them a great home. The infants have been taken care of and are all healthy. 

YOU just have no idea the impact of a meal provided at the school make!  This brightens the faces of YOUR children and makes them want to attend school everyday. May you be blessed!

As you can see the number of our supporters has remained the same for the last four years and it also reduced to some point. We are the only ones who can increase the number of our supporters. The number of our children increases every year and the everything goes up and we can't give our children the best. It is in this regard that we are encouraging you to share with friends and family members, groups and clubs about the good work you are doing and the lives you are changing.  YOU are the ones to encourage them to join the cause so that as Tumaini grows our support also grow. Help us spread the word, share the needs and work to increase the number of our supporters.

The end of the year is here again and your eighth grade children are preparing for their national exams. There are smiles all over their faces as they are graduating and getting ready for high school.  It is always a big transition for them but the good thing is that YOU have prepared them well by providing quality education that will see them pass their exams!  They have proved that through their pre tests exams, tumaini school has been the 1st position twice out of 132 schools. Two pupils have been the best in mathematics in all the tests.

As many pupils worry on the performance and where they will join, YOUR children are looking forward to high scores and joining good high schools in the country. This wouldn’t be so without YOU, all the high expectation in YOUR children’s education life is because of YOU!  YOU have made all these happen, YOU have made their lives shine just like other children who have parents and families. YOU have given them whatever any child would need to be a better person.

We have 26 candidates this year and the exam starts on the 1^st November. They are well prepared and looking forward to this day.  YOU have provided reading materials, text books, tuition and meals.  The environment is conducive for learning and all is because of YOU. YOUR monthly support has made a big difference in the lives of the children and the community in general.
