Educate an Orphan in Rural Western Kenya

The month of August was our school holidays and organized a one week program for all the Tumaini Supported children to come together. We had several activities, High school students shared about their schools and their experiences in high school. The first group of students joining university this year also motivated all the other students by sharing their how they achieved their goal. All the children shared their stories, how they came to Tumaini and how they have benefitted from the sponsorship. They planted trees, helped with the manual work at the school and children’s home, had breakfast and lunch together and it was fun.

This program was one of the best programs we have ever had, our children celebrated our partners and sponsors and planted trees to represent them. We all appreciate your commitment and support, YOU are not only changing the wellbeing of our children but you are changing the whole community and the country. These children are not the same, they have changed, their reasoning, behavior, thinking and their performance in school is amazing! YOU have made it to happen!

I believe you have what to share with family and friends, YOU can’t afford to keep all these great things for yourself. Share with them and give them an opportunity to be part of this noble cause. Many children are still experiencing hardships and they are living a hopeless life, they are just praying that someday their lives would change. We all know by sharing with others and giving them an opportunity to give we will be able to reach out to more lives.

John , Lorine, and Christine are now grown. They joined Tumaini when they were young, YOU started sponsoring them at that tender age and look at them Now!  John has completed high school and he will be joining teaching college, Lorine has also graduated high school and has joined the trade school for as a designer and Christine graduated primary school and has joined trade school to enhance her talent in dressmaking. 

These young people lost their parents at a tender age, they had no hope, they didnt know who to turn to and through this program YOU took them as your own and have brought them this far. They wouldn't be here without YOU, they wouldnt be who they are now if you would not have taken this initiative to support them. YOU have changed many lives through these young people and this is a mark that will never be forgotten but remembered forever.

 Roney and Irene are here with us and they are orphaned and they need support to proceed with their education and to get the basic needs as the other children.  We know there is power in the word of mouth and please share with friends, family members and your pages on social media. We have more than 77 children needing support and this will be achieved through your help by sharing with others what you are doing.
