Wael, a 31-year-old Syrian man, faced significant challenges after losing his left lower limb below the knee due to the devastating earthquake. This loss left him struggling with mobility and independence, but thanks to the dedicated efforts of the NSPPL team, the Syrian National Project for Prosthetic Limbs, Wael received a thorough assessment of his condition.
A custom-designed prosthetic limb was then crafted to suit his needs, and Wael began his rehabilitation journey with the guidance and support of our specialists. Through intensive training, he regained the ability to walk with confidence and independence.
Wael’s story is one of hope and resilience, showing that even in the face of adversity, strength and determination can lead to recovery. We are proud to be part of Wael’s inspiring journey towards self-reliance and a brighter future.
