"When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed." -- Maya Angelou
Dear friends of USAP,
We are incredibly grateful fo the donations you made to our Tech Access campaign that has allowed us to purchase 20 Chromebooks for use by our USAP students as well as their teachers and other students in our programs. Access to the Internet is not a given here in Zimbabwe, and these computers have allowed students in our programs to submit a record 30 Early Action/Decision applications. We will continue to use them together with the wireless network, generously donated by Zimbabwe Online that we enjoy at Education Matters, to help students apply for universities and access a wider variety of learning opportunities via the Internet.
We are gearing up for #GivingTuesday, Tuesday 29 November, when we will be raising funds for our USAP Access Fund to cover some of the many hidden application and enrollment costs for USAP students. Join us to make a donation on that day so we can access matching funds that Global Giving is offering.
With much gratitude,
The team at Education Matters and the USAP Family
