Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are helping communities remain prepared for an outbreak that continues to change geographically and epidemiologically.
The current DRC outbreak has not affected every area equally. Transmission intensity varies between provinces and health zones, requiring communities to remain attentive even when nearby areas appear less affected.
As of 29 September, the latest reporting period recorded new confirmed cases in Ituri, North Kivu, and Haut-Uélé.
Our community approach therefore emphasizes sustained preparedness rather than assuming that declining cases in one location mean the broader threat has disappeared.
Your contribution helps communities remain vigilant without panic—ready to respond appropriately when new risks emerge.
