Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are keeping communities at the heart of Ebola prevention and preparedness.
Behind every case number is a family, a neighborhood, a healthcare worker, a school, or a community whose daily life can be affected by an outbreak.
That is why our approach combines practical prevention with community awareness, hygiene promotion, household support, early reporting, stigma reduction, and cooperation with health authorities.
The latest DRC situation demonstrates the continuing scale of the challenge. Through 29 September, 8,224 confirmed Bundibugyo virus disease cases and 3,982 deaths had been reported, with continued transmission in several provinces.
Yet communities are not only recipients of assistance. They are essential partners in detecting illness, preventing transmission, supporting affected families, and building resilience.
Your support is helping ensure that the people most affected remain at the center of the response—and that every community has a stronger opportunity to protect itself.
