Children: Absenteeism and Non-enrolment in Uganda’s Primary Schools
In two public primary schools those were purposely selected in Kole District; Kole Intellectual Forum together with UWEZO Uganda; they conducted qualitative research; purposely, on a sample study on the Absenteeism and Non-enrollment enrolment in Uganda’s Primary Schools: an investigation of school Based and Home Based factors; two public primary schools were purposely selected by the Education department – Kole District for the case study.
The in-depth qualitative research was conducted and a sensitive data was generated, coded and analyzed waiting for presentation. We are at the final stages of editting and make the proper reports about the findings and inform the relevant educational stakeholders of the actual action to be taken to improve on the quality education in Uganda by reducing the level of absenteeism as well as ensuring the non-enrolled pupils come on board.
