Gardening For Project Sustainability: KIFA
Despite global challenges those are facing all the nonprofit organizations across the world in terms of decline in donations; Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) is either not in isolation. The organization is one such nonprofit organization that is too faced with limitation in resources (donations) to run its activities; however, to certain extend, the organization is trying to provide some options to run their projects. For instance, the project to: Empower a Girl: For Self-Reliance is being supported with gardening for project sustainability, whereby, students of the institute of Home of Economics are engaged in gardening to supplement their food substances other than relying on the donations only.
For the last three years, the students are being engaged to produce their own maize and beans as the main food substances for their Institute of Home Economics.
