In Syria’s displacement camps, winter poses a severe challenge beyond families’ ability to cope. Thin tents, muddy ground, and freezing winds turn every night into a struggle for survival, especially for children, the sick, and the elderly.
Many families have lost everything and can no longer afford basic heating supplies. The cold does not only cause discomfort—it threatens lives, with rising cases of illness linked to low temperatures.
Driven by its humanitarian commitment, Saed Relief and Development carried out a winter heating distribution campaign targeting the most vulnerable families. The assistance included coal, essential heating materials, and blankets to provide minimal warmth inside tents.
This project restored hope to many families, eased daily suffering, and allowed children to sleep more safely during cold nights. It also helped reduce health risks and protected families from the harsh effects of winter.
We sincerely thank all donors who supported this campaign. Your generosity helped save lives and spread warmth where it was desperately needed. We encourage you to continue supporting and to share this report with family and friends so that warmth can reach as many vulnerable families as possible across Syria
