As winter storms intensify across Syria, thousands of displaced families are enduring extremely harsh living conditions in camps that lack basic protection. Worn-out tents fail to block cold winds, rain seeps inside, and children and elderly people spend long nights shivering from freezing temperatures.
In response to these urgent conditions, Saed Relief and Development implemented a blanket distribution project targeting the most vulnerable families in camps and affected areas. Thick winter blankets were distributed to help families stay warm and sleep safely during cold nights.
This humanitarian intervention helped reduce health risks associated with extreme cold, including respiratory illnesses and infections, particularly among children and the elderly. For many families, the blankets were more than fabric—they were a sense of safety and a message of solidarity during a time of deep hardship.
Beneficiary families expressed sincere gratitude for this support, which eased the burden of winter and reminded them they were not facing the cold alone.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors and supporters who made this project possible. Your continued generosity and sharing of this report with family and friends help us reach more families in need and provide warmth and protection to those who need it most.
