Hello everyone!
Wow what a busy few months - Wollangarra's staff, directors and helpers have been flat out running lots of fantastic Stage One programs for first time Wollangarra goers.
The weekend before last was the WoodChop weekend, where ample wood stacks were crafted, and other important odd jobs were completed. There was a great turn out despite the Wintry level and the staff really appreciated the help, as will the young people using the wood over the coming months!
But that's not it for community events - Guess what? Next Friday night (June 29th) is the City Bush Dance, being held at Collingwood Town Hall in Melbourne - if you're around, come along! There will be heaps of great dancing, all led by the Briagalong Bush Band, and plenty of food, drink and excellent company. It's a chance for Wollangarra and Mittagundi supporters to mingle and fundraise so that more young people can have the Woll/ Mitta experience.
One last piece of news, we have a new fundraising mission! Toilets! The old Rota-Loos are no longer up to standard sadly and Wollagarra needs to purchase some new compostable toilets :) If you are able to donate, it would be so appreciated! And you can experience the outcome up close and personal next time you visit!
Remember, all donations made within Australia are tax deductible :)
We hope you are enjoying the Wintry weather, and really hope to see you at the Bush Dance!
