Meet one of our caregivers, Nana. Nana is a hardworking man with two jobs - at a local school and as a taxi driver after work, looking to get another degree to start a pharmacy business in order to provide for his six children.
Nana is an assistant headmaster at a junior high school in the Greater Accra Region, where he has witnessed several cases of child trafficking. After hearing the stories of Kwame and his sisters Ama and Abena (see previous post), he decided to take them in and become their adoptive father. Kwame, Ama and Abena are all beneficiaries of the project.
Nana is a widower with two biological children and is also responsible for his deceased brother's child. In all, he is responsible for six children for which he provides accommodation, food, and educational opportunities.
With the generous contribution of many donors such as yourself, Nana can be supported in continuing with his education and start a new business to better provide for his family thus helping to combat child trafficking.
