Newly elected Youth Venturer!

By Yoi Ashida | Ashoka Japan Staff

Dear our supporters,

Thank you for your continuous support in whatever form you have given us!

Last month, we held the 5th We Are the Change x Kansai. Since December of 2021, it's been one and a half year we have been organizing this event every three months, and we are happy to see the community of young changemakers are growing in the Kansai region, gradually yet steadily.

We are happy to announce that a new Youth Venturer is elected! Mio has invented her own board game, IROIRO, to understand and appreciate the diversity. She has created all the characters, game systems, and introduction videos using stop motion, and the quality is professional level!

Mio's key message is that diversity already exists around us, whether we recognize it or not. Recognizing that all of us are "minority" in some way would help us understand what the word "diversity" actually means. She is envisioning the world where everyone feels comfortable living in this world, and her fun board game is the first step to realize that dream.

For more information, please check out her website!

Mio is the 118th Youth Venturer. We are continue looking for more young changemakers to create a stronger community and movement. Your support is much appreciated!

Best,

Yoi on behalf of Ashoka Japan
