A tumour of the horn is generally malignant in nature and is common in aged cattle. Few days back a cow had been admitted to our facility with a badly infected wound because of hyper granulation on its left side horn. When she was rescued and brought to our hospital by some local animal lovers her wound was open and filled with blood, flies and maggot. After examination our team of vets flushed the wound, bandaged and splinted the broken horn.
The cow is now settled and showed improvement after a week of Constant medication, follow-up and nutrition but still has a long way to go for complete recovery, till then the cow will be in our shelter under medical supervision.
We are thankful for your generous contribution and hope for your long term association with us, which will support our organization to take care of these speechless animals and release them back to their normal life.
