Khaled..From the Darkness to Engineering

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

"A wonderful challenge, and a tangible achievement." This is how we can describe the journey of the orphaned student, Khaled. Today, Khaled is no longer just a child chasing his dream among displacement tents; he is a student at the Faculty of Engineering, sketching with his own hands the first steps of the future his family has long awaited. This success is not merely academic excellence; it is a victory of will over the bitterness of poverty and the harshness of living in those forgotten camps.

Under unbearable living conditions, Khaled felt indescribable joy upon passing high school through "Masarat." Your donations were the support that enabled him to:

  • Overcome the Pain of Displacement: Transforming camp suffering into a drive for achievement, proving that canvas tent walls cannot block the vision of a future engineer.

  • Achieve the Impossible Dream: Thanks to academic and psychological support, Khaled was able to cross the difficult bridge from high school to university, achieving a dream he once thought was far out of reach.

Our Partners at GlobalGiving Your continuous support and empathy are the fuel that made Khaled's story end in a university lecture hall instead of strenuous workshops. You did not just give him an "educational opportunity"; you gave society a promising engineer who will one day contribute to rebuilding what circumstances have destroyed. Because of your generosity, we do not just graduate successful students; we create young leaders equipped with knowledge and experience.
