Destroyed Classroom, Biggest Challenge for Orphans

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

This image captures the harshest challenge facing the education of orphans and displaced students: the total destruction of educational infrastructure. What we see here is not just a ruined room; it is a "classroom" that once buzzed with children's laughter and dreams, now turned into a heap of rubble and ash, bearing witness to attempts to destroy the future of an entire generation.

The Challenge: The orphan, who has already lost their support, now finds themselves without a "knowledge shelter." The destruction of schools forces thousands away from education, pushing them toward forced child labor and exploitation. Studying in or near ruined classrooms adds a heavy psychological burden, a daily reminder of war and loss.

To Our Donors on GlobalGiving: Your continuous support for Masarat funds the construction of a "Bridge of Knowledge" over this rubble. Your contribution doesn't just mend a wall; it builds a future for an orphan who feared their dreams would fade away behind their destroyed school. Thank you for being the hope and lifeline for every child who fears their dreams will be lost behind the rubble.
