Educate a Girl, Educate a Nation - Sierra Leone

Your support is making a profound difference in the lives of young women like Brenda, who recently completed senior secondary school and took the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The WASSCE is a mandatory final exam in Sierra Leone’s secondary school system, which you must pass before you can start college.  Brenda plans on studying human resource management in college this fall.

For many students in Sierra Leone, the cost of college is an enormous barrier, as they often need to pay tuition for the entire year upfront. This financial burden makes higher education nearly impossible for many.  Thanks to your generosity, students like Brenda will be able to attend college this year, opening doors to opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
