Dear Donors,
We are pleased to provide an update on a significant strategic development aimed at enhancing our stewardship of your generous contributions. Currently, our support for rejected and neglected children relies on a decentralized network of community caregivers. While effective, this model incurs substantial operational expenses, including transportation, stipends, and distributed resource costs.
To address this, we proposed, and we got an official authorization from local leadership, to construct a centralized care home. This dedicated facility will serve as a permanent sanctuary for the children we serve. Once funded and operational, this Centre will accommodate over 80 children under one roof.
This consolidation is pivotal for operational efficiency. By bringing the children into a single home, we will dramatically reduce the overhead associated with managing multiple individual caregivers. Resources, staffing, and oversight can be centralized, ensuring a higher quality of care at a lower cost per child. This allows us to redirect more of your funding directly into the children's welfare—nutrition, education, and healthcare—rather than logistical expenses.
We are seeking partners to bring this vision to life. Your continued support is the foundation upon which this future is built, and we invite you to help us lay the cornerstone of this safe and sustainable home.
With sincere gratitude,
Seguya Ivan
