KIFA celebrates Hero’s Day: Uganda
In its smallest capacity, Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) joined the rest of their citizens in the celebration of the Country’s hero’s Day that was, observed on June 9th, 2025 that was made a public holiday. The day is meant to commemorate individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the nation's liberation, development, and dignity. This day according to the framers in Uganda is considered to be that time devoted to honor the sacrifices made by those who fought for Uganda's freedom, those who have served the country with distinction, and of course, those who have positively impacted the lives of others.
Of all the emphasis advocated on the Hero’s day, Kole Intellectual Forum’s focus value is on the development of young generations and also to emphasize on the importance of patriotism, unity, and commitment to Uganda's positive future.

Discipline, a subject under child development

Discipline, a subject under child development
At Kole Intellectual Forum, Institute of Home Economics, Discipline is considered as a subject under Child Development course unit that specifically deals with quality of being able to behave and work in a controlled way and also involves obeying particular rules or standards in life at particular place. Initially, according to the observers, it was taken as that image of calm that are appealed to voters to behave in self-control manner and restraint from errors or mistakes
Notably, the Institute of Kole Intellectual Forum advocates for the 3 types of discipline; that calls for, Preventive Discipline -- measures taken to preempt misbehavior by keeping students engaged, Supportive Discipline -- measures taken to assist students with self-control by helping them get back on task and lastly, Corrective Discipline -- measures taken when students are not following classroom or school rules.
Because of such measures being put in place at the Institute; the Institute realizing a positive outcome in the performance of their students.

Preparation to celebrate organizational Day
July 22 every year is Kole Intellectual Forum’s organizational Day; a day that is remembered for the launching of the organizational activities and start off its function. It was at Apedi Primary School, found in the Northern part of Uganda in Uganda. The year of the launch was 2016.
It is not necessarily a day of remembering its launch alone, but also a day that life came into the existence of the organization; that people became aware that, there is an organization call Kole Intellectual Forum, with a vision, mission and objectives; of course, being supported by some individuals as its promoters.
Since then, the organization has moved from the simple ways of life, beginning from the lowest stage of organizational growth to where it is today.
With support from donors on the platform of GlobalGiving, we, at Kole Intellectual Forum, are grateful to say, the organization has reached at the stage of maturity, because, it has the staff, students and organizational assets.
