Dear friend,
Thank you for your support during this challenging times.
Since 2011, we have been aware of the educational inequity in Mexico. We did not imagine that the lives of the students would be suddenly transformed by the health crisis caused by COVID-19; a pandemic that will mark the decisions of students today and in their future; students who will become the decision makers, doctors, scientists and leaders of the future.
The health crisis showed the conditions of inequality that exist in Mexico and the world. An estimated 2.4 million students will drop out of school.
Aware of the problem, at Enseña por México we act based on evidence, we seek to understand the problem before determining a solution. This is why we conducted a census on the student population with which the PEMs collaborate and we realized that… Only half of the students have their own cell phone. More than half of the students do not have a computer. Only 38% have fixed internet access at home.
With these data in mind, this back to school we are working to:
1. Generate diverse strategies to monitor students through different media, taking into account connectivity, access to tools and more characteristics of students, in order to continue learning processes and support for students.
2. Give support to educational agents and parents.
3. Inform for the context, through:
Learning resources
Radio and podcast - The Power of Emotions.
Social media content

Thank you again for your support.
