The Silent Emergency

Hunger After Displacement: They Survived the Violence. Help Them Survive the Hunger.
The crisis in Benue State does not end with escape from violence. For most families, a silent emergency sets in—hunger. With farms abandoned and markets destroyed, access to food becomes a daily struggle. Parents are faced with heartbreaking choices: skipping meals themselves so their children might eat, or stretching one small ration to last days.
The Feed Displaced Families in Benue, Nigeria project, led by GoGreen, is dedicated to closing the gap between survival and starvation for those most affected. We deliver staple foods and emergency rations directly to displaced households, ensuring that children, the elderly, and the most vulnerable do not go without.
But the need continues to grow as new families are uprooted by ongoing conflict. Our food stocks can only go so far, and without additional support, more families will fall through the cracks.
Your generosity can be the difference between hunger and hope. Every donation gives a family the nourishment and strength they need to persevere.
Please, don’t let hunger be the next tragedy these families endure after surviving violence. Help us lift the silent emergency and bring relief where it’s needed most.

Addressing More Than Just Food: They Survived the Violence. Help Them Survive the Hunger.
Every day, newly displaced families in Benue face not only hunger but the loss of dignity that comes with inadequate hygiene, unsafe shelter, and the inability to meet their own basic needs. The trauma of displacement is compounded by daily struggles—mothers unable to feed their children, families without clean water, and girls lacking essential hygiene supplies.
The Feed Displaced Families in Benue, Nigeria project by GoGreen recognizes that survival is about more than food. Our comprehensive support includes:
- Nutritious meals for children and adults
- Clean water and water containers
- Sleeping mats and blankets for comfort and safety
- Hygiene kits for women and girls to preserve health and dignity
But as the number of displaced families rises, so does the urgency for expanded support. Our ability to serve each new family depends on the generosity of people like you.
Your donation today can restore dignity, comfort, and hope for a family that has already lost so much.
By sharing this message and contributing, you can help us reach more families with the holistic care they urgently need.

Meeting the Daily Needs of Displaced Children: They Survived the Violence. Help Them Survive the Hunger.
Beyond the headlines and statistics are thousands of children in Benue, thrust into uncertainty by conflict. For them, survival means more than escaping violence—it means facing each day with no guarantee of food, clean water, or a safe place to sleep.
Displaced families often arrive at camps or temporary shelters with nothing but the clothes they wore when fleeing. Their children have lost familiar routines, friends, and educational opportunities. Now, hunger and malnutrition threaten their health and future.
The Feed Displaced Families in Benue, Nigeria project, led by GoGreen, places a strong focus on supporting the most vulnerable—children. Our aid includes nutritious meals, safe drinking water, and basic hygiene supplies, providing immediate relief and protecting young lives from the devastating effects of hunger and disease.
However, the needs far outpace our current capacity. Every new arrival increases the strain on limited resources.
Your support is crucial. By donating, you can help ensure a child does not go to bed hungry, and a family can move from desperation to hope.
Stand with us as we work to keep hunger from claiming more young lives. Please share this message and contribute if you can. Together, we can help these children not just survive, but begin to heal and look towards a brighter future.
