Give needy kids life and hope through education

These amazing kids joined Sports For Change 8 years ago. We sponsored them through secondary school ,they passed well and transitioned to university. They will all be graduating this year . They each give their life reflection about the journey with us. 

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase Perfection, we can catch excellence. It is unbelievable that an ordinary young girl from the village has been pushing on despite challenges encountered and discouraging compliments from the surrounding. Sometimes it seems impossible but due to support from God through sports for change family. There occurs an optimistic progress in the educational levels, that’s from primary to secondary school and now Campus, still hoping to catch excellence . I never get satisfied of giving thanks to sports for change for the support they offered. Thank you for the generosity you’ve expressed, it’s motivating of expressing the same to other fellows that would in the status I was”~Lucy

Behind every uniform is a story you wouldn’t believe. It’s not where you are that defines you. It is where you are headed. “Studying masters in Poland has been a great experience so far . I have gained powerful and impactful new experiences and learned a lot from the new environment. Particularly the winter season, it was tough since it was my first time experiencing this kind of cold  but I had to adapt with the changes. It was my first time to experience snow and we had a lot fun playing with it. Here they say someone should not complain because it is cold outside. The weather is not the problem it is the way we’re dressed during the cold season. What matters in life is not the situation we find ourselves in , but how we respond to it that has a huge impact in our lives’ ~John

“I joined Sports For Change at the beginning of high school—shy, hopeful, and unsure of what the future held. Today, I look back and see just how much I’ve changed and grown. I’ve faced challenges, learned lessons, and found strength I didn’t know I had. I’m no longer that same girl—I’ve become more confident, focused, and ready for what’s next.I have just completed my final exams in university. looking  forward to graduate soon with Bachelor of Commerce "

“When things go wrong as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill. When the funds are low and the debts are high. I found myself in this situation. This was the time I finished my KCPE. I was not able to join secondary school. By God's grace, sports for change came in and sponsored my education . With their support , I joined secondary school , completed and passed very well . Iam now in campus pursuing my dream course still with their support . I feel blessed and favored to have joined sports for change community.  We are all one big family that check on each other . Thankyou sports for change "
