During our August Holiday Leadership and Mentorship Camp, we were privileged to host Jackline, a certified psychologist and one of our volunteer mentors. Jackline is passionate about creating safe spaces for young people, helping them build confidence, strengthen their emotional well-being, and develop healthy relationships.
During her session, students explored the topic of attachment styles, an eye-opening discussion that encouraged them to look deeper within themselves and better understand how their early experiences influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. The session sparked meaningful conversations as students reflected on their personal journeys and learned practical strategies for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and self-love.
Many of our students come from challenging backgrounds and opportunities to learn about emotional health are often limited. Through sessions like these, they gain valuable tools to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience, confidence, and empathy.
We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters who make these mentorship opportunities possible. Your support continues to equip young people not only with educational opportunities but also with the life skills needed to thrive and reach their full potential
