Empower the Future: Educate Liberian Children

Your support has helped provide children in Liberia with school supplies for their new school year. The parents who were not able to purchase all the needed school supplies were very thankful for the school supplies that their children received.

Educating these future leaders in Liberia is giving them the ability to get out of poverty. We believe that education and training are transforming agents that are critical to human capacity building and to enhance the national capacity development.  Our vision for the future is to expand beyond the basic educational needs of the youths by providing high-quality vocational training whereby they can become fruitful citizens of Liberia and the world.

Dear project supporters,

Your support is giving students in Liberia who live below poverty level a chance to get their education.  The future leaders at Henry B Bennah Public School are working hard to complete their second semester of school before summer break.

In January, the students and teachers moved into the newly constructed school building where students continue to demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm for learning.  The new facility provides a better environment for learning and students’ enrollment has remained steady throughout the semester.

The school year will end on July 13^th and will reopen in early September.  An end of the year closing program is being planned and will involve a drama about the importance of education and careers.  Students are expected to identify the professions they are interested and act out those professions, for example, doctors, engineers, nurses, teachers, etc.   There will also be competitive sports events.  

With your ongoing support, we are excited to aid the school in making continued improvements for the next school year.  You are truly helping the future leaders of Liberia get their education. Thank you for making a difference!
