A Movement in Bloom: Transforming Schools Through Movement
Over the past months, the Juega Más program has continued to build a powerful movement across Mexico City's public schools. By activating School Movement Committees, training Physical Education teachers, and bringing families together through play, the program has seen tangible progress in creating active, inclusive, and healthy school communities.
At the heart of our work is a core belief: when children move, they learn better, feel better, and grow within their active community.
Our Impact in Numbers
At the start of the new school cycle, Juega Más continues to expand its reach across Mexico City. The data from June to September 2026 reflects both the consolidation of existing efforts and the integration of new schools into the program.
We are currently reaching 4,702 girls and 4,383 boys across participating schools. This total includes: 4,267 girls and 4,285 boys plus schools in our active network: 435 girls and 98 boys who continue to be part of the Juega Más community.
During this period, we strengthened the capacities of 151 coaches (79 women and 72 men) through training and participation in key program events. This includes:

Key Insights
Gender balance in participation: The program maintains a nearly equal representation of girls and boys, with a slight majority of female participants.
High engagement among female coaches: Women represent over half of the coaches empowered during this period (52%), reflecting the program's commitment to gender equity not only among participants but also among educators.
Diverse training modalities: Coaches were trained through multiple entry points—school-based sessions, university partnerships, community events, and academic spaces, demonstrating the program's ability to reach educators through different channels.
