Fall is a great time to get involved!

By Kristy | Development Director

As the seasons turn here on the East Coast and kids are back to school, we know the holidays are right around the corner.  For many in America, the holidays are another painful reminder of the hunger they live with each day. Currently 17 million children go to bed hungry each night. YOU can do something about it! Move For Hunger makes it easy to make a big difference in your community and there is no better time than now to get involved.

Each year Move For Hunger organizes hundreds of food drives across the country. We will send you boxes, create fliers, and even send a moving truck to deliver all the donations to your local food bank. Food drives are great team building activities for employees, schools, sports teams, college organizations, clubs, or corporate offices, and they provide crucial support to food banks all over the country. Contact Dan@moveforhunger.org today about holding a food drive in your community!

Plan on sending out holiday cards this year? Spread your good wishes while fighting hunger. This year Move For Hunger is launching a holiday card program to give supporters the opportunity to do just that. Express your thanks to your valued customers, associates, friends and family all while supporting hunger relief in North America. 20% of your order will go directly to Move For Hunger.

Are you a runner or walker? Turn your miles into meals this fall by joining TEAM Move For Hunger. Team Move For Hunger is a national fundraising program, dedicated to raising awareness to the often overlooked crisis of hunger in North America. Team Move For Hunger is open to any and all runners regardless of age or skill level. It doesn't matter if you are just starting on your first 5k, running in a themed run, or you're a seasoned marathoner; you can turn your race into a run against hunger.

To date, Move For Hunger has delivered over 3,700,000 million pounds of food to food banks across the country, that's over 3,000,000 meals directly to those in need. But we didn't and can't do it alone. Join us today in helping to fight hunger in the community you live.
