Update on ‘Provide a home to 150 special children in India’

(Project #24535 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)

Funding goal : $75,000 / Funds raised to date : $9854.31

Project Report due on : Jun 25, 2023 / Report sent on : Jun 5, 2023

At the very outset Balajothi thanks YOU, DONOR, for your generous support to this noble project of providing a home to the homeless underprivileged children.  Through your sacrificial giving we have been able to raise $9829.31 to date as against the projected budget of $75,000.  We need to go a long way to fulfill this dream and we hope to reach our destination at the earliest with your continued support.

As reported earlier, discussions are ongoing with officials to procure a bungalow, in Kolar Gold Fields.  The allotment involves approvals from both Central and State governments and are dependant on several factors.  The question of time for getting such approvals is also a serious factor and needs to be considered.  We are working on these factors and will keep you informed of the progress made.

In the meantime, and as a temporary measure, a childrens’ home has been set up in a gated community where the children are safe and happy and where all their needs are met and provided for.  We once again thank YOU, DONOR, for bringing about this wonderful change in their lives.

Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for there continuing support to this noble cause by raising funds from across the globe, even during the pandemic period.  We pray for their safety and well being in their dedicated efforts to bring relief to the needy and underprivileged community.  Thank you GlobalGiving !!
