In Hogar San José the grandmothers celebrated the 82 years of the home. The event was carried out with the participation of collaborators, friends, volunteers, residents and employees with the characteristic climate of joy and celebration that usually reigns in the home. The guests were greeted with a show that encouraged everyone to dance and also those who live in the home.
The Director of Home, Hugo Cattoni, commented: "Thank you all for being part of the history of our beloved San José home. We are convinced that the only way to grow and improve this world is through the commitment of people like those who support with their sand to the home, leaving their mark on the elderly.
Nowadays, 50 elderly people in a situation of social vulnerability reside in the home. Many of them because they do not have relatives who can take care of them, others because they require more care, as well as because of scarce resources. From Home, we promote respect, care, participation in workshops and activities that encourage the stimulation and motivation of an active aging. The meeting of a population that transits the same evolutionary stage and encourages the performance of daily activities, with a detail that sets it apart from other nursing homes: The San José always has its doors open for visits
