It's been a while

Hello All,
It's been a while now that we completed this project with your support! So you might wonder why you getting another report... well we are really excited to share a new Scholarship Program for 2024 where we will be providing one teacher from 20 charity schools that we work in a scholarship to learn Play Therapy.
In 2023 one of our teachers went on a training program in Latin America to learn about play therapy and being inspired she returned to the school offering after school therapy sessions ans the results have been amazing. Children struggling to engage attended and since attending we have seen a rapid change in their confidence and engagement in school, this is such an amazing result and we have identified many other teachers across Afrirca, Asia and latim American schools that would love to do the same so we had to get our scholarship program out of retirement!

On The Lookout for Eligible Applicants!

Dears Supporters,
Our NSP Australia project has done surprisingly well with regards to donations and thanks to all of our special donors, we have a really healthy pot of funds and we are so excited about finding a few eligible applicants for 2018. However, we have struggled to get the attention from eligible applicants that we feel this project deserves.
As a result of what we feel is a great need for this project, given the state of unemployment, we are prioritizing this project and focusing our attentions on finding ways to seek new applicants. As this year has seen some great success so far for the GVI CT, and some great recognition of our work which has been very helpful in forming partnerships and relationships, we feel we now have the momentum to allow us to move this project further.
Any assistance or help you can offer in helping us reach our eligible Australian scholars is desperately needed and welcome! For more information, please see www.gvi.org

The Search for a Scholar has begun!

Dear Supporters,
Although this project has done extremely well with regards to funding, the amount of eligible Scholars has been at a low. We have recently sent out an email directed at Australian students and the feedback has been absolutely fantastic!
We have started round 2 of our application process with at least 5 individuals and will hopefully be awarding the scholarships in the near future - so keep an eye out for this exciting news!
If you know of anyone who would benefit from a this project and ticks all the boxes below,
- Between the ages of 15-24
- Currently enrolled, or have an active application, at a learning institute (school, college, university etc.)
- Able to demonstrate that this opportunity will be beneficial for your studies/ planned studies and/ or employment
- Have a clear criminal record
- Are passionate about making a difference, to yourself and others, and to learn about global issues
- Willing to leave your comfort zone
- Are in need of financial assistance
then they are eligible to apply for a scholarship with us!
