Details for Taba Cell "Ryinzovu " preparation
By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader
Dear Patrons,
Rwanda Youth Development And Voluntary Organization
would like to express my deep gratitude for all the support
that you have provided so far for our tree planting project
hosted at GlobalGiving. On behalf Rwandan YouthDevelopment and Voluntary Organization (RWAYDAVO)Wishing you a very happy 2022 in advance! We are so glad to share that we are making very good progress in our fundraising, and we are happy to let you know that we have achieved our immediate milestone of raising USD$5000for preparing the 5 lands for tree plantation. We would like tolet you know that after the planting trees by the end of Januarywe will be doing fencing to be able to protect our treesfrom goats, cows, and children, and require additional immediate support.
I just wanted to take a minute to update you on the efforts
we are taking for getting prepared for preparing the fourth land
and how our volunteers are working towards that. For
preparing the Taba land, Ryinzovu village in Rulindo district of
Burega sector, Rwanda. This area’s Google code is Rwanda:624R+Q3.
To prepare this land we will need 10 people well trained to
prepare the Taba Cell Land from January second week,
and this will take 10 to 15 days. Due to the urgency of the
planting saplings by the end of January 2022, we might
increase the number of workers. We have also finished all
preparations related to the transport of organic fertilizer.
The transport will be done by people who will carry the
fertilizers using bicycle as this land is near to the road.
To do this, we will get the help of 11 people who
will be working for 10 to 15 days. We may also
increase the number of workers depending on the
progress of the work. For planting trees, we will
involve primary school students and children
around the village. The supervision will be done
by Field operation Manager together with
RWAYDAVO volunteers.
We wish and hope that through this project,
we will be able to make a significant impact
in the lives of the people in the community,
and instill the importance of trees in the minds
of the people so that they take care of them
on an ongoing basis.
I once again like to thank you from the bottom
of my heart for the support and donations that
you have made for our project, and we look
forward for your continued support in the
coming days.
If you wish to start a monthly recuring donation
for our project to support our ongoing work,
please feel free to start a monthly recuring
donation using the link provided in the link section.
