Dear Patrons,
It is our honor and pleasure to have you as partners, supporters and donors. On behalf of Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization, I am very happy to take this opportunity to thank you very much for all the support that you have provided so far for our Rwanda forestation project and to give you the updates about how our trees planted are growing in the lands.
In this report, we are sharing with you, the progress of saplings planted so far and how they are growing, we are also sharing with you the very recent photos (See attached photos).
The saplings we have planted are Citrons, Orange, passion fruits and Grevillea and all are growing very well. I would like also to share with you that, we have started regular maintenance of the saplings and the land. This activity includes pruning the area properly in order to keep the trees healthy and strong, we also do watering during the dry season. As the soil compaction prevents water and oxygen from infiltrating to the tree’s roots, we always make sure that the soil is not compacted. We are also doing mulch about 6 inches from the base of the tree so that we cannot damage our trees roots.
We request you to donate generously for our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us with our ongoing work. The link for the monthly recurring donation is mentioned below in the report.
We thank you for everything that you have done for our project, and we look forward for your continued support.
Thanks & Best Regards.
