Dear Donors,
this update aims to be the closing report of this important project. Since 2018 Aleimar supports Il Sole Onlus and IFSO (Integrated Family Services Organization), our local partner in the slum of the Ethiopian Capital, with the purpose of sustaining the project “Flowers in bloom”. During these five years, all the partners have worked together in order protect and help a great number of children victims of violence and abuses in a country at war. The local staff and all the managers in Italy have always been engaged in following all the challenges faced and all the progresses reached. After summer, in September the children hosted in the center of Addis Ababa have started a new school year and all the psychological support actions and recreational activities have never stopped.
After an in-depth analysis of the abilities of the local partners and of the community network built during these last years, Aleimar recognizes the autonomy and sustainability of the project: all the connections created on the field and all the experience gained in the child protection area led Aleimar to the choice of supporting the local partner just in case of future emergencies. For these reasons Aleimar reserves the right to activate ad hoc campaigns and will always stay in touch with Il Sole Onlus in order to monitor the local needs.
Aleimar would like to sincerely thank all the donors that in these five years have support this project. All of you have helped us to be always closer to the most vulnerable children of Addis Ababa!
Thank you!
