Dear Supporter,
Thanks to your generosity, young Samer a Syrian child who tragically lost his leg to a landmine explosion near his village—has taken his first confident steps once again. After the traumatic injury that resulted in the amputation of his left leg below the knee, Samer’s world was turned upside down. But your kindness turned despair into possibility.
At the Syrian Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Al-Bab, Samer received a full medical assessment and was fitted with a custom-made prosthetic limb. Under the care of a dedicated medical team, he began supervised physical therapy and gait training sessions. Today, Samer is gradually regaining his balance, learning to walk again, and most importantly rediscovering the joys of childhood play.
This transformation would not have been possible without your support. While Samer now walks toward a brighter future, many children like him still await their chance at healing and hope.
With deepest gratitude,
